Nice build. 😎 video, too. The weak link will be plastic planetary gears hub motors. You should be good stock power for durability and the long term.

They say the top speed 33mph but like all Ebikes is normally a few miles per hour slower. When I first got my Talaria they said it went 55 but I was getting like 48mph

It reallt depends on the whether conditions and weight of the rider, colder conditions make the battery work harder there for u get less power and the wind conditions matter and all that stuff @windowwasherfpv3485

Nice conversion! I put the same motor on my 1989 Cannondale XM and it's been a complete joy to ride. It allows for really fast commuting to work and errands around town w/o getting tired and sweaty. I use the throttle for help getting away from a stop or after slowing down for peds on the paths. I unlocked it and use settings 3-5 to cruse about 20 mph. It's great!

You should think about upgrading to the HV kit from high voltage. Upgrading the bbshd to asi 855 turns it into a completely different bike. You do have to upgrade the battery to pull 50a continuous on 72v or 65a continuous on 52v.

I replaced the Altus derailleur and shifter on my bike with a Microshift Acolyte derailleur and shifter, $40 and $20 respectively. The Acolyte derailleur has a clutch mechanism which helps keep the chain from falling off the chainring, and, it is much more quiet. I also replaced the chainring with a "narrow wide" chainring, $30, which also helps to keep the chain from falling off and completely eliminated the two bash guards on both sides of the chainring. It looks so much better.
