Do you need the exhaust gasket hanger $123 part with this instal?, dealer is saying it’s required? I have a 21 scout bobber. Maybe they just want to scam me! Plan to instal myself

@@HER6GEARSyeah a gasket exhaust header they are calling it. $123 bucks. As exhaust has to come off. I think it’s a scam! Ain’t buying it.

Dean Speed Customs is a good company with great products. I went with VH big shots on my 2020 softail standard, but I have from Dean Speed rear crash/foot pegs, handlebars, sissy bar, and 2 inch tank risers. All the parts I bought were reasonably priced, good construction, and looks great.

@@ClubMotivated absolutely not, the chief dark horse isn’t as fun as the FTR. I put 3,000 miles on my chief and I never had the fun I did when I first rode the FTr. Ended up putting about 500 miles in 2 days on that ftr.

I just stopped into Indian Motorcycle of Racine a few days ago for the first time. They have an awesome showroom. One of the guys that worked their let us tour the upstairs as well that they occasionally have events at.

If it's from Indian, it's probably $8,000.00. They really stick it to their customers. I have chieftain darkhorse and they wanted $600.00 for a backrest without the mount.
