Through years in and out of temporary accommodations where my hair was affected to chase my dreams in honouring Jesus through his mercy and grace I’m looking forward to this new journey of self discovery and believing in myself as Jesus believes in me🙌🏾

I tried onion juice with ginger! I couldn't stand the smell! Even with tea tree oil and bergamot oil, plus using rubber gloves, it still smelled, and my hands smelled like garlic for two days! I might try the oil, though!😊

How do I keep it clean?
@kat3218Ай бұрын
I use a natural/sulfate-free shampoo if I've used (natural) gel/mousse, which is not often. I use an old-fashioned shampoo (one with sulfates) if I've used heavy styling products, which is very rarely (a couple of times a year) or if my scalp starts itching or I feel build-up in my hair. I pretty much listen to my scalp and hair instead of having a set routine. Otherwise, I co-poo, style with leave-in conditioner (or nothing every now and then when I want to let my hair 'breath' and don't have to go nowhere), and deep-condition as necessary. It takes years to learn your own hair, and even then, it changes within the years, so you have to start adjusting changes again. Your video is a very good start for those starting the natural curls journey. Thank you for helping others make that journey easier.

Damn, I've been doing it all wrong! I deep conditioned my hair weekly to bring back🤦🏾♀️, and now I will use it once a month or biweekly. The protein I will use once every 4 months and the mask as needed or switch it with the deep conditioner once a month

Making these curly hair drying mistakes? Here are some simple solutions: • I recommend always sectioning hair when blow drying, especially if you’re a type 3 & 4 curly. It gives so much more definition, dimension, curl definition and speeds up drying time. • Moving the hair dryer around but not too crazy, you want to focus on one section at a time for less frizz and more definition. • cupping ends of hair: this is really key so your not putting excess heat on the ends that will dry fast on their own. Another hair drying tutorial coming soon! Follow for more curly hair tips! I am a black Brazilian woman. I lived in the US for 12 years. During all that time I didn't understand the benefits of using a protective hair style. Protective from what? On the other hand, my American friends didn't understand how my hair could stay so healthy if I didn't use it. Just let your hair be!
