Didn't see many long slow runs being done. Speed, efficiency and strength from gym.

Amazingly fortuitous to has such footage from the beginnings of the story. This makes it the best, most complete running documentary story ever. Bravo.

Would’ve been awesome to see Rudisha race Bolt at 400m, even 300m but I think they both lost their hunger, so perhaps the wealth sorta weakened them. Still awesome, but Coe carried on. He was pretty rich, certainly comfortable, so never did it for the money, only the times and titles. Like the coach said, “it’s not how good your legs are, it’s how good your head is” and “everyone wants to speak to you when you win, but when you lose, they’ll ignore you”. Pretty easy to see how he had so many athletes compete at the very top. Very wise man giving his knowledge away to athletes who were great talented but very poor financially. This is what Christianity is all about.

One of the best, if not the best, running documentaries I have ever seen! The insights and wisdom provided by Br. Colm are priceless. The humility, work effort and astounding running ability of David are a sight to behold. Truly a great documentary.

What an inspiration. .Am sat ere a year wasted..mourning..time to get up n live..thanks to the humble David n brother colm ...he was the only wr breaker on track at London 2012 I think. .1 of the last events David broke into 100 sec territory. .I think had he not been injured he would of broken 100 secs..but to see the greatest ever 800 m race..and I've watched a few being British, watching coe ovett cram ...David should be a millionaire yet I look and even if he is not he has wealth thats not involved with money..he has a lovely family but I do believe he will prevail to be invaluable in his community and what more can a person want...for this I think wow..get of ye ass John it's time to run..😃

After a few athletes such as Samuel Wanjiru got distracted and unfortunately ultimately destroyed by money most athletes stick to the time tested script of Kenyan millionaire elite athletes from long ago... money makes stuff easy but it is an all consuming fire that they keep at arms length and not central to their lives. A big part is the iron clad welding of strict Christian faith, the tribulations of running and perseverance in life, which they hold onto for the rest of their lives long after their careers are over.
