I’ve been fishing the channel since the 80’s, right where the video is shot. The only thing that’s missing is the fish…As of mid-April just barely over 1000 fish=extinction. Human caused incompetence, ignorance and stupidity.

Agreed. It’s getting harder now to catch springer at multnomah channel.

We need a real pull test. Looks like you swapped out the traps. The trap you pulled dodnt have a bar on the pull side. The trap on the deck does with a zinc. Looks liike you pulled a light pot and swapped it for a heavy pot.

We love watching the waves at Depoe Bay, fortunately there's not obnoxious music when we're there, just the ocean sounds. Leave off the special effects and learn how to just show what's there. Thanks.

Always fun to watch the surf crash ashore at Depoe Bay. Extra fun to see boats navigate their way through the narrow harbor entrance ( not shown here ). They basically have to wait for a big swell and surf it in.

Nice footage I've surfed for 50 years and I've personally rescued or been in on the rescue of a half dozen+ people in that time. "Sneaker" waves are not a thing. Not paying attention and turning your back on the ocean are. If you do not interact frequently with and understand the ocean stay away from the edge or become another sad statistic. The ocean will kill you without feeling, remorse or reflection.
