At the end of this game, 22 penalties had been given to the Canadian team along with a 4 - 1 loss to the Americans earning the Canadian team a blue handicap parking sticker for their team bus.

exactly The sens only have moving lights in the arena on opening night but this year they didnt have them and the ctc lacks the colorful lighting And they should bring them permanently

Man on tv you couldn’t hear the “ZUUB” chant. And I was pissed at the fans for messing that up! That was a weak Zub chant. Would have been sick!

@@danb215 It was definitely full. The concessions were not in mid-season form though. My gf went to get fries and a drink at 1st intermission and didn't get back to her seat until there was 7 min left in the 2nd. Hence the appearance of empty seats

@@MarkMech maybe it was just during the opening ceremony and introductions. I’m just going by what I saw on tv. Makes me happy it was full and the Zub part. Gave me goosebumps watching ullmarks post game interview on the ice. Fans chanting his name. Winning 3-1 vs Florida even if it’s game 1 of 82 is huge. We never win low scoring games especially vs great teams. Was proud yesterday and I hope they really build off this win!

@@danb215 People are not all at their seat at that point but Ottawa did have over 100% capacity and highest attendance in the league last night with over 19k
