Just my 2 cents, you should really turn the key halfway, wait a second for the fuel pump to kick on, then turn it over. I have a 2007 800 x2 twin efi and it hurts to watch you not let the fuel pump cycle, only takes 2 seconds.

@@TheGearGrinder right! Exactly my thoughts man, amen brotha! Because letting the pump run might seem like it doing something to some people but in reality its to only get gas up to the engine(if it’s slap dry! out of it)so it can start, if it starts after cranking like he did. it’s already got the gas it needs in the fuel lines and it all already made its way up to the fuel rail and injectors, so all that is gonna do doing that every time you start the machine is just allow so much more! unnecessary fuel to get drown into into the fuel lines. for nothing! Yeah man doing some research, I say it’s stupid to let the fuel pump stay on for those 2sec. All that’s doing is throwing all that gas money down the 💩er.
