Usual Steve Harris copy-paste, you can hear it on Rock in Rio Fear of the Dark official release, vs the TV bootleg. I don't care about this, it's not like someone was messing with truth overdubbing studio tracks, its a real live vocal, just pasted, because supposedly Harris doesn't like the "lack of intonation" when Bruce does call and respond with the audience.

Era la primera vez que los fans de Iron Maiden iban a escuchar canciones interpretadas por Bruce (Powerslave, Run to the hills, 2 minutes) Ademas con Mister Adrian Smith entregandole toda la mistica Maideniana y haciendo un tremendo trabajo apañando los temas solistas junto con Roy... Bruce sings this song like a happy child in disneyworld. It waste all the flavour and the intention pf the song. I rather prefer Blaze. Too bad if you guys disagree 😅

Chemical Wedding is my favorite solo album by Bruce Dickinson. The Tower is one of my favorite songs, too!

Good grief Powerslave is absolutely relentless , dare I say a better version than maiden could have conjured up at the time and for a while before hand . Drumming on run to the hills is very Clive Burr , doesn’t sound like Nicko’s version which is pretty cool as well . Also Adrian on Tears of a dragon is great . Cool to hear his take on tattooed millionaire as well when Jannick was in maiden playing some of his solos at the same time

Heh this question gets posted a lot. Nope, Roy wasn't filtered out but the band did not direct this video - this is video wall feed mixed by venue's video guy shot with venue cameras. I presume they didn't have enough cameras and kept focus on center and stage left where Bruce and Adrian are located. Roy is visible on other songs on this bootleg video which is available on Anthology DVD. Bruce Dickinson band 1997-1999 did not shoot any official live videos, everything you can see from that period are bootlegs. Two best additional live bootlegs are Sao Paulo and Santiago 1997. There you can also see that Roy isn't much "featured". I believe the TV cameras at those gigs are focusing on Bruce and Adrian as biggest names, Eddie is running around, but Roy is most stationary stage right and doesn't catch camera's eye too much. So, lack of Roy in all videos is due to other people controlling the video direction. If it was band official live, they'd ensure everyone has enough screen time. Hope this clears things out.

No, this is post Maiden, Smith and Dickinson were roughly back in late 1998, regardless of the news being put in early 1999. Bruce still had a commitment to South American leg of the Chemical Wedding tour.
