I was impressed with mine at first but I dug it out again this year (had it about 5 yrs and hardly used it) and it seemed to work fine but now it’s switching itself on and off and not keeping things very cool. When it’s on there’s a green light, when it’s off it’s a cashing green light. I have tried it on eco and max and I’m using it off 230 v not from the car battery

Is that air valve a back up pump? Just got same sofa for tent camping but don't have mains power to use function plug function,

It does have a back up valve so you can use a pump yes, and seeing as I have an air tent I would just use that pump to blow it up, mind you I would be disappointed if the unit stopped working as it has 3 settings on it and turns off automatically when it reaches them, this means you can just walk away and carry on setting up while it does it's thing

I bought one four years ago and use it a lot. But in the last year it has started to ice up a bit after three days use dropping the efficiency considerably. Of course its intended for camping use but it would benice to use it formore than 3 days on the trot. Defrosting is easy enough but as you say youend up witha pool of water in the bottom.

Super Slick, I appreciate your review because I just purchased my Outwell tent and I want to know other customer's options. I live in the United States and I found 1 company that was willing to ship camping products here. The shipping and delivery was quite painless and fast but the cost was something less to desire. I was able to track my order and was given frequent updates which is great! I was soooo excited to get my extremely heavy Outwell tent that I ran to the backyard to pitch it. The tent is well constructed, sturdy and very durable which will provide many years of camping memories. My only issue with the tent is....I can't get it back in the storage bag that it came in. The zipper is stretched to the breaking point with a large portion of the bag still unzipped. Can you do a video with your thoughts and options about the packing of your tent? I want to properly store my tent but feel I'm failing during the first week of owning it!

Thanks foy the comment, honestly I could not get it to go back in the bag either, it took me 3 attempts and in the end I left the pump out the bag just so I could get it to zip up and you are correct about the weight! It's bloody heavy but it is well built and even in strong wind it stands tall and hardly moves. Hopefully you have lots of fun in you're tent and with each time it gets eas3and quicker, I will say that the claim of having it up in 10 minutes I think is a joke as it takes that just to peg it out.

Didn’t learn anything from this review, and yet the reviewer complains that there are no reviews???

What is it you want to know? I am not a person who does reviews of stuff really so not sure what it is I am missing that you would want to know

Sorry for the earlier short comment but I’m interested in this item and I was hoping you’d sit on it. Talk about the short comings. I know it’s impossible to compare to all that’s out there, there’s just too much stuff, but there are some inherent shortcomings to inflatable furniture which we all know about and I was wondering if this sofa has solved any of your pet peeves about inflatable furniture. Thanks for your efforts and consideration of my post.

@@buffalosoldier7360 this is the first inflatable one I have had so it is hard for me to compare it to anything else unfortunately, the only thing I can do is just say how it performs. It has 3 self inflation points so soft medium and firm, once this point has been reached it will switch itself off, this is good because then you can not over inflate it, onec this was up I had to top it up once in a week so it help its pressure really well and it is surprising comfortable if you wanted to you could easily get a good night's kip on it. Once you find the correct comfort setting for yourself then it's a good little sofa but I Spent a while getting it just right for me and the Mrs to sit on in the evening. It packs away really well as you just turn the pump on and set it to deflate and it will then happily go back in the bad with ease, only downside I found was you tend to slide on it a bit but put a blankeover it and this solves the issue. You can also inflate this sofa with a hand pump as well so don't need power so this is alos an up side. I am going away again soon so will send you a vidoe of it packed away and with more detail on this if you like?
