I saw this live. I watched nearly the entire show standing on one of those gigantic, "Big Gulp," truck stop refillable mugs. We were in between the stage and the 1st set of PA towers they had blasting back up the hill at the roughly 240K people behind us. For a brief second (and I mean brief) I can be seen standing on my mug, tripping my face off and loving life. What a magical show and an amazing time to be young and living for any moment, all the moments! We miss you Houser. Four short years after this wonderful performance you'd go on to the great big gig in sky.

I love hearing all of these stories. I was 5 at the time, so I wasn't able to make it, haha. Brother's got me into Panic, I remember them showing me this, and I was in awe, WSMFP!

IMO, the night that began the greatest 4 year run of any band I've ever witnessed. You want to listen to a great Panic show? Pick any of them from April '98 to April '02 and there you are. It was pretty darned fantastic for years prior, but the boys took it to another level during this period, just flat-out dialed-in every night, it was incredible. RIP Mikey and Todd, miss you so damn much.
@kirbycaramelo7348Ай бұрын
100%. They were the best band touring in those years-period.
@lhads226524 күн бұрын
@@kirbycaramelo7348 One of the most underrated years is 1997 (because of the greatest 4 year run you are talking about) Please listen to Club Soda Montreal QB and Palace Theatre Louisville - some of the best panic its like so fucking good. Really shows the humbleness of them, even when they were climbing to new heights. They really went everywhere!
@kirbycaramelo734824 күн бұрын
Oh, for sure. 97 was insane and I feel like they reached their second pinnacle-first being 93-in 97. Everything was tight and consistent. 98 was solid but 99 was SO much better. They were taking big shots and chances; huge jams; playing 5-6 songs a set some nights. Very psychedelic Panic. I’m a 00-01 kind of guy-they were unstoppable those years and were the best rock n roll band those two years, for sure. After Phish went on hiatus, JB had no clue but he became the prince of Jam. #chills

Channel name should be updated to "Dose Oligarchs" or ". . and Biden/Harris" Thinking only one "side" needs a head adjustment is whacky.
