I remember plating the first game and the last one for me is Revelations. I wanted to be an Assassin so bad, I was like 10. We ran around with my friends, kept our hoods on and pretended to assassinate eachother with our hiddenblades. Really hurts to see what the franchise has become.

I can't express how funny all ACs except the first one look from a historical lesson perspective. Do I really have to remind you people that Isu also aren't much of a historical figures? The game also suggests that not only Jesus Christ was a real person(so far not that stupid) but also actually resurrected(now it's not that historical is it?). Oh, and I doubt there ever was a Native American superman who changed George Washington's heart so that he wouldn't become a totalitarian dictator. I also doubt that the same Native American could kill half the American army plus it's key figures like Charles Lee. Btw wasn't he an ally of Washington and didn't he die due to illness in an inn? Also Hitler didn't commit a suicide, he was killed on the run but I guess this can be considered a part of a conspiracy theory.

I feel like Ezio’s speech to Desmond is more the developers speaking to the player (heard after AC3 the writers left likely knowing they’ll continue to make more AC but they want to end Ezio’s story). “Who are we that are blessed to share our stories with you? To speak across technology.”

While this game wasn’t my favorite in the trilogy, this ended absolutely hit me hard! The story of this game is way better than Brotherhoods that’s for sure

To me, this is the greatest cutscene in Assassins Creed. After 13 years, the magnitude of what is happening, the interaction between Ezio and Desmond taking place across, as Ezio said, centuries, Is greater, more chilling, and thought provoking than any other cutscene I have ever scene In the Assassins Creed franchise. This is the Revelation the very title of the game represents. Neither Ezio as a character, or his monologue to Miles has not been toped by any other game in this franchise. Thinking about it, and watching this after years, I know why this is my favourite AC game after so much time.

This is what we're missing. What i loved about AC is that you're actually an assasin, that has a "rule" for how you live. You dont know or meet every other assasin, but you all have respect for eachother. You dont live as a hero, to be an assasin is to suffer, to lose, to forgive. Like it was said "we live in the dark to serve the light"

Some people are just happy with asset flip bad writing DLCs that ubisoft just sells as new game. I do like some of the new games but the gameplay and quality of game mechanics are getting shittier each release.
