I have a 1993 Explorer 1st gen, 4x4 version, 4.0 engine. I feel it very heavy and it doesn't accelerate like the video. I have a friend who has the normal version and I find it lighter. What can I do to make it accelerate more?

Only fair to test a completely base, fuel efficient engine level from Mazda to these other brands but even then.. there’s no way any engine from Mazda could be slower than these eco brands. I find it hard to believe.. it’s Mazda! In a completely different league.

Crazy thing is the SHO a v6. The q50s a hybrid it looked like and the other two v8s. I personally own a 16 taurus sho so i enjoyed seeing it standing next to much higher "classed" cars.
