I feel like one of the KITH guys heard his grandpa say ‘hoopla’ once and felt inspired to make this entire sketch around it

It's such a weird slang term. If someone uses it to express how angry they are about it, it could be vague enough to never define what they mean by it. Especially if they don't clarify. The prank in this skit can virtually work anywhere! For more than just a mere salt shaker at that!

Bobby defeated Satan with Rock. He will also win Laura back with leftover Ham of Truth and Rock!

Agreed. The sheer absurdity of some of their sketches it what makes them so great. I generally think that comedy is best when it's grounded in some kind of reality. But Kids in the Hall consistently prove the exception to that rule. I think it's also why their comedy is so timeless.

I love Bruce. He is underrated because some people are just too good for him I guess. Or sausages and ham are just too heavy a subject.

I had to look up the location: (roughly speaking) 445 Cherry St, Toronto, Canada. Then I was shocked there's a neighborhood called CABBAGE TOWN?
@WinkLinkletter4 жыл бұрын
There is a "Cabbage Town" in Atlanta, Georgia as well. It is an old neighborhood where many of the residents seem more like rural southerners than people living in the middle of a metropolis.
