An old girlfriend gave me the Narrow Stairway CD years ago. I listened to it a couple of times but rediscovered it this week clearing out my old home. I listened to it three times this week already and have placed it next to my Liam Gallagher, Metric, Echo and the Bunnymen, Cream, Doors, Electronic CD's as a welcome addition. Im 60 and grew up on eighties alternative music and find Death Cab a nice fit to my existing tastes. I plan to explore their other music. -Steve Magnante

I love this song I used to sit in my room and sing this song and cry with my headphones on I was very depressed as a kid and now adult so it has really been a song I gravitate towards and now that I've become a mom and am growing a family with my husband it's a soothing song I can appreciate in a different way now it's a bit happier knowing I will follow them into the dark

This song, this probably means more to me than any song. When it came out I was done. I lost everything, my mom pasted and I lost my job I had for 10 yrs and had to go back home to nothing, everyone was gone. I had my ticket out but the guy stole my money. Literally the next fucking day.. I met the girl I'm with today. That was god or something giving me a raft. I was done, it was over. This came out and was playing and it just gave me so much hope. Just hearing it again make me tear up. I needed it so bad. Thanks cab
