do you usually have to fix or repair models from 3D warehouse when importing into VW?

The tutorials you posted the last days have a really low audio level...

Thanks. You Tube has lowered the volume a bit when the videos have ben uploaded and seem to have have removed audio controls in their editor. 😞 I'll try to sort over next couple of days in Premier and upload.

Do you know how to find the dimensions of existing items (eg. applicances)? I find I have to measure every one after I drop it into my drawing and I don't think they can be resized to suit, forcing you to go download your exact item IF that's available, and if not you have to create your own from scratch...very time consuming.

HI, Sorry for the late reply. I had a try at "Scale Objects" but it doesn't seem to work with complex 3D objects such as appliances and you're right, no info on the object to help understand size before importing. I'll ask around. Thanks.

I've watched lots of videos about this, this is the only one so far that has grouped the much needed information into one clear and concise 11 minutes and 38 seconds. It's not so difficult if it's explained well!

Exactly..the amount of videos that I've clicked on that claim "tutorial" then it just starts with a super complex 18 layer drawing....

Hi Steve, I really find your tutorials easy to follow and informative. I have been using Vectorworks for many years but not so much as a 3D tool. I have been using packages such as Sketch-Up and Revit. I'd really like to find a good 3D focused VWK intensive course in London. Would you have any recommendations?
