Mr T: Incidentally darling, when we meet him later at his houseboat, he's sure to refer to me by the name " Paul Temple Balls. Mrs T: I say! What the Dickens for Darling? I'm going to rewind and count how many times Mrs Temple prefixes husband's name "Paul" anytime she asks him they talk together. That or 'darling " . .

I was looking for a narration of the book. Clearly the description is misleading. This is a BBC Radio Drama.

Great story but I think the recordings are incomplete. Story jumped forward a couple of times like some scenes were missing.

Although a new production of as in clean audio, why are parts of the original music used like Sheheradaze frying bacon from 60 year's ago when one could have chosen many digital excerpts from anywhere, the 20 seconds of crackling music doesn't give it a time old authentic feel at all?

@@cherylmundy6354 find an episode with Peter Coke and Marjorie Westbury reading Paul and Steve, they are perfect in the roles. I've heard most of the Paul Temple they are great stories, simple and sometimes silly but gripping nevertheless
