Mrs T: Who's Snooker Riley darling? Mr T: Why he's the guy I get us that rather splendid spliff from sweetheart. Mr T: Incidentally darling, when we meet him later at his houseboat, he's sure to refer to me by the name " Paul Temple Balls. Mrs T: I say! What the Dickens for Darling? Is it a reference to your unswerving nerves whilst working a case? Mr T: It's all pretty straightforward Steve. Lebanese Temple Ball, what! Both chuckle😂😂

I'm going to rewind and count how many times Mrs Temple prefixes husband's name "Paul" anytime she asks him they talk together. That or 'darling " . .

03:20:46 suddenly, being so frightfully english, what, there's polite tirade (if there could be such a thing?)of "goodnight to one another. I thought I was listening to the wrong audiobook, and it was "The Waltons."

I feel I have to point this out, it says Full Audiobooks, edited by Laikhan. N. How can it be full and edited?

I was looking for a narration of the book. Clearly the description is misleading. This is a BBC Radio Drama.

Great story but I think the recordings are incomplete. Story jumped forward a couple of times like some scenes were missing.

Although a new production of as in clean audio, why are parts of the original music used like Sheheradaze frying bacon from 60 year's ago when one could have chosen many digital excerpts from anywhere, the 20 seconds of crackling music doesn't give it a time old authentic feel at all?

I am simply captivated by the story voice actors in this story. It is so entertaining. I am thoroughly enjoying this.

@@cherylmundy6354 find an episode with Peter Coke and Marjorie Westbury reading Paul and Steve, they are perfect in the roles. I've heard most of the Paul Temple they are great stories, simple and sometimes silly but gripping nevertheless

Interesting point but I think "glamour" might be found in her voice and her lifestyle.

Love the introduction and that the announcer actually pronounced " research" with the British English emphasis on the second syllablee..reSEARCH!

The intro confusing Steve for Paul Temple's "husband" is a sign of degenerate times. Men marry women. End of story.
