07/28/24 This is a great video with the reality of travel to the park.... to be honest, felt sorry for the dog... no blankie, no pillow to CUSHION the rough ride on the dog, poor thing. I did however loved seeing him run free in the park. Great job! Realistic video

Very nice review. Thank you. I just bought a new used Contend AR through OfferUp for $1,000. The guy barely rode it. It’s basically brand new and I feel like I picked it up new from a bike shop.

put a nice fluffy cushion in there so it absorbs the bumps and he feels comfy inside

huge effort! I just climbed it for the first time last week. can't wait to do it again. My watts were significantly lower than yours - i think i came in at around 215avg. 280 watts average is the top of my vo2 range tho - so i'm not touching that...for now. 215 - is the top of my tempo range. Give me a year or two to get my ftp up 😂

I'm going to put a old thick foam chair cushion onto the floor isolating the bumps the dog doesn't feel them.

i completely missed the fact that there was a successful breakaway until i read your commentary. I'm doing the 4/5 on saturday. my fitness isn't what it needs to be to win. I'm new to racing. thanks for posting this video.

I would have loved to see Cheddar get used to this trailer in SMALL doses. He looks terrified, and I'm surprised I didn't see him hurl with all the bumps and the higher speed he was expected to endure. And how about a nice orthopedic cushion for him to absorb the bumps. Wouldn't be surprised if he refuses to ever jump in that unit again! I know this was all well intentioned, but the process could use a lot of improvement.

The video itself would have been better without the unnecessary distractions: - a weirdly moving background - annoying / intense music. The background should be what the name implies a you know… BACKGROUND ;) So things that don’t STAND OUT. ✌️

Hi, Great video and super upgrades to your bike. i am looking to get a Contend SL 1 Disc but the geometry is identical - however, i just wanted to ask you what is your height? I am 179cms and I am in between sizes. I need to place an order and since there is a shortage of bikes, if I am lucky will have just one piece available of either size M or ML. This is my first road bike, and I have mostly MTBs, Hybrid (Currently a Scott subcross 30 in size L). I have tried riding a Medium Size Decathlon Triban 500, but it took me a while to get adjusted to it.. especially the seating position and the reach.

I wouldn't know what will work best for you since it's a bit more complicated than just height. I am 175cms and went with the M. In general, if you between sizes, it s recommended to go with the smaller one and perhaps get a longer stem if you need.
