I miss Raul Rekow playing congas and Karl Perazzo. These musicians played from their hearts. When they played the congas, timbales and bongos spoke volumes to their music and the world. Rest in Peace Raul.

Todos los videos de karl perazzo , será conocido , pero lo veo muy duro y tieso al tocar timbal , no hay elegancia , salsa dura no podria tocar , no el verdadero sonido de un timbalero

Perazzo es el timbalero ( y percusionista en gral diría ) más sobrevalorado de la historia...es bueno ? Sí es bueno...pero nada descollante....tuvo la inmensa suerte de entrar en la banda de Santana y eso le dio marketing...pero nunca en un ranking hecho por expertos, va a estar siquiera entre los mejores 50 percusionistas...hay tantos que fueron 100 veces mejor y no tuvieron el respaldo que tiene el...de Lp por ejemplo, no sé...O. Vilato, Castrillon y puedo seguir. Este tipo lo único que hace es pegarle fuerte y nada más.

@@javierluciani3358 Sus redobles y abanicos son impecables. He sacado de este video algunas ideas para tratar de armar un solo en mi timbal. La energía con timing es de metrónomo.Sus solos son muestra de varios recursos técnicos que toman años perfeccionar, ejecutadlos de manera limpia. Lo que ocurre es que no se lo debe valorar como solista o showman sin en el contexto de la banda que toca. Es excelente para el show de Santana, donde Carlos Santana es la atracción principal. Lo mismo ocurre con Kenny Arnoff, quien no es valorado como solista sino como un gran baterista para los músicos que acompaña. Feliz de la vida iré a una clínica de percusión de LP con Perazzo.
