I have the canoe and almost all of the gear for my first solo adventure. Whoever wins it I hope you use it well. Here's throwing my hat in the ring. New to this channel but I follow the Bairds and a lot of other guys. Keep the videos coming bro! #BluettiAC70 #solocamping #bluetti

Man I've spent multiple summers camping by myself in Ontario wish I was smart enough to document it! Woke up one morning to a beat sniffing my head threw my tent. I jumped out hatched on hand an he just calmly went on all fours. I made it to my boat where I still had a couple fish from the night before. I filleted the fish and dropped them down the shoreline for her cubs. This video. Brought back a lot of memories of that trip, Thank You!

Been watching your videos for a while. For the sake of the fish you intend to release and more importantly for the safety of your hands, please start using a net. Other than that, love the tripping vids! Just dont want to see something bad happen and it'll make for gentler fish handling!

Dang it man, posted my comment right before I saw the part where a hook was buried in your hand. Such a bummer. Live and learn hopefully.
@benbeauchamp163 күн бұрын
Hahaha really appreciate the comment, as you can see I had to learn the hard way. In order to keep the video authentic I had to keep the embarrassing mistakes in. Net and barbless hooks going forward. Cheers!

How many walleye can you keep per day per person? Assuming two?

It sucks to see such a hot fire that burned that area, but on the fringes the amount of big game you see is the result. A fire leaves perfect browse for animals and wildlife. After the glaciers retreated all there was is bald rock, so give it time it will regenerate once again.

Please get a net...especially for the trout. Wetting hands well before handling them is also a plus! Thanks for sharing your adventures too.

yeah, i got to agree with your comment about effort at 50% #bluetti, when pushed a person can/will discover how much more they have in them...sometimes they just need to be in the right group for support at the outset..

Great video your excitement about the caribou reminded me of seeing my first one in the mid 80s while leading canoe trips on the Mistassini River in Quebec. A few years later in the early 90s we would regularly see thousands on the George River in Nunavik, northern quebec . #bluetti

Ben, at the end of your video you mention your desire to become a “pro KZbinr”.. I say go for it..!! Especially now while you are young.. Your success will happen as long as you continue to pour in your excitement, energy, enthusiasm into your videos.. Your passion for the wilderness is obvious.. It’s not lost on me how much effort it is to create these videos.. Not sure how old you are but I’ve spent over 30 years working long hours in a windowless, dirty, foul aired environment.. If I could go back in time I’d want the Sky above me and Mother Nature around me to be my workplace.. IT CAN BE YOURS..! Thankfully I’m still able to get out there and enjoy the outdoors.. Your content as well as others keep me inspired.. “Alone in paradise” is my favourite video as I was fortunate enough to paddle a similar lake when I was up in the far north, it was magical .. So just keep on keeping on..!!! Good luck 🍀

Been to WC a few years back…it was absolutely SWEET! Had two days of burn to paddle through, it was an adventure to be sure! Good job on the ‘canoe’ walleye! It is always a bit weird to run across folks when out for a long period of time! Good job! TY!

Very good videography my friend. Hey, you caught so many fish. Do you think it's possible to have survived only on what you caught? I'm not sure how eating only fish affects the body.
@devildogsbushcraft78985 күн бұрын
I'm wondering, do you ever eat pike? I mean, I have, and they are not bad eating. But I have never had a walleye.
