Outside of not holding his vibrato as long towards the end of your clips, he sounds almost the same in 2010 as he did in 98 or whenever the first recording you posted was filmed. Today however is a different animal.

How do you sync the audio with the video in a proper way, like you did it here? And what software do you use to do that?

Quite honestly, trial and error. I think I used VideoPad and just lined it up until it sounded mostly right, then zoomed in and tried to align the waveforms.

If you plan to do this with another song, I would reccomend you to don't use videos/audios from official releases. DT sometimes overdub some things. Not a hater, but most of the bands do this. Anyway, great work with this!

I think it's just the 4-string version of the b-15. I would say that the tone is pretty good but it's sort of a difficult bass to play (high action, rough frets, etc.) Keep in mind that the one I have is a bit older and the new ones have different pickups, and might have better construction in general. I think that if it's set up properly it could be a solid entry-level bass, especially if you want to play metal.

I'm not quite sure what platform to use, but sure! I will warn you, however, that it was recorded directly to .m4a format with a somewhat shoddy phone microphone.

I've been recently looking for a Bass (you know guitarist for 40 years now what ? Well who is going to do that studio track at 3am , ME!) and i have to say watching you play this wonderful song with great articulation upon something similar to what I am looking to purchase made up my mind, I'm getting the B-15. Hey man, been looking at this bass for the extra frets and string coming from a p bass, is there any issues I should know before hand my guy?

The fret edges on mine are a bit sharp, and the string spacing is a bit narrow for me, but other than that it's a pretty decent bass, especially for certain metal tones! I will mention, however, that I have an older model and I'm pretty sure the new ones have a PJ setup, and some of the issues may have been fixed.

I just purchased the Ltd-B205, and I was considering getting the B-15 as a backup. I just made my decision. Great playing and tone. Keep it up.
