nice boat! Is it not too heavy to pull it back up the ramp for one person? I'm thinking of replacing my air floor 360 Zodiac with a T40 with alu floors but it's a lot heavier than an airfloor so I'm wondering how difficult it is to pull it up on steep ramps without a trailer?
@denzilthedestroyer52432 жыл бұрын
It is heavy and any incline would be a struggle. I dont tend to move it far. The only reason I move it on the wheels is so the trailer doesn’t go in the salt water.

Will the bouncing of the attached outboard while trailering damage the transom?
@henrikmichelsson17292 жыл бұрын
With Honwave it’s recommended to remove the engine while trailering. The transom is made out of strong material, it’s not good though for the inflatable boat
@coffeedollsvp2 жыл бұрын
@@henrikmichelsson1729 but in your case...how has it held up trailering with motor on?

This video was great , the first I have seen on here of someone launching a T40 on transom wheels , and it looked like it went great, can you tell me how you get it out of the water ? It can’t be as easy up as it is down ?
@denzilthedestroyer52433 жыл бұрын
Mike Otton thanks for watching. I drop the wheels down just before I land on the slipway. Then pull the boat out a few meters. Mainly to save dunking the trailer in the water. Once I get the front up onto the trailer I winch it up. It’s a bit difficult on my own but would be fine if I dropped the wheels of the trailer in the water.

@@denzilthedestroyer5243 Fantastic so you can set of from anywhere really? This site has courses for the uk. www.rya.org.uk/wheresmynearest/Pages/whichcourse.aspx#filter/o-25-5 it’s very important to have all the safety equipment before you take to the water. A VHF radio is also a great option.

@@denzilthedestroyer5243 ok thanks for the advice i think i'm just going to stick travelling the river's until i take a course for sea. May i ask do you assemble you boat each time or do you store it on a trailor? for rivers you do need insurance and mot and a licence am i correct?
@denzilthedestroyer52434 жыл бұрын
@@joshcarra2152 Its always worth having insurance if you are using a boat just incase you bump into another user. there is no such thing as an MOT for a boat so as long as you are allowed to use the waterway you can use it. My boat is always inflated and left on the trailer.
