They won’t ask for your yellow fever card until u get to Ghana and at the airport it’s like 20 bucks to get it and it’s fast. Don’t get it here in the US and pay the $500 for your info

Absolutely correct, that yellow fever vaccine was so expensive l paid over $300 to get mine in NYC. I did not require a travel certificate.

@HP Hp Asebu is pretty far from the accra airport, so it's about right. Asebu is in a different region in ghana . Asebu is in the capecoast area which is far from accra. From accra to capecoast is about 3.5 hours .

Best to link up with someone you can get the STC bus to cape coast and probably beat the cost down. Otherwise if want to link up I live in England but I can organise free transport for you to the bus station and get to cape coast or if you will buy petrol I can someone to take you there for less amount it’s up to you. I’m a nurse in England but I go home regularly and I’ve even offered to give free accommodation to AA who is running on a budget to live in my house and just pay the bills. You need to link up with someone there at least don’t pay that much if you get a bit creative you’ll pay less and still get to your destination. Stay blessed

I went to Accra Ghana in April 2022. I didn't have to have a health certificate. Like you, I liked the food on the airplane. I flew Air France. I attempted to get Cedis from my bank in the US, but they weren't available. I exchanged money at the airport in Accra. I used my credit card a couple of times, the one with no transaction fees. The driver that picked us up from the airport became our personal driver. I am going back in November and staying until January.

@Mark Mensah I got my yellow fever vaccine in the US about a month before I left for Ghana. When I applied for my Ghanaian visa, my yellow fever card was attached to my passport. My doctor gave me a prescription for malaria pills. I started taking them a few days before leaving for Ghana and continued while I was in the country.

Remember, ghana is still developing nd am sure u need not travelbto all the places in ghana. . It's all about the vibe in ghana, the freedom, culture, and safety you feel when u in ghana. Tourism is still in the infant stage at the moment which means alot of potential. Even all the concerts are basically new.
