I used to live in Horseheads, spent a lot of time st the Arnot Mall. KB Toys, Olympia Sports, Bradley's, JCPenney, Friendly's, there was a pet store by Sears, the arcade...so many memories.

You should really do another video, especially when I live locally and I’m pretty sure somebody is actually renting the old Sears location now

IN the early 80's Mr. Panosian's Street of Shops was there, it was sooo busy at the holidays. Very sad to see it now. The food court was always busy. A lot of memories with my Arnot Hospital school of nursing girlfriend, now my wife.

When i kid I remember the original mall so on your map it was the yellow and red section. It was busy , we drove 1 hr to go there , and as a kid it was a adventure. Now its just sad

Claire's Boutique use to be across from the Ice Cream place in the eighties. The place where you bought your video games and was an electronic's store prior was a record store in the early eighties.

I grew up a few miles away from the mall, and I have family in Elmira. I use to go to the mall every Friday with my friends in the eighties. I remember eating at Picnic Pizza, and I worked at Bradleys as a first retail job in their jewelry section. I remember buying posters at Spencer Gifts, and I had my ears pierced at Claires Boutique. I moved away from Elmira to live in San Francisco for 26 years. Now that place is a crap hole with drugged out homeless people going to the bathroom on the streets and jabbing their legs with needles, so I left there, and now I am back on the East Coast up north. Thank you so much for uploading this! This was the location I went to as a child in the '80s up until it closed. Do you have any more footage? I've been looking for old video from the Orem Showbiz/Chuck E Cheese for years! This is so amazing to see.
