Thanks for watching! Sharkle lets you steal points from an opponent. You'll play like normal during your turn rolling until you either fail to earn points on a roll or say stop. If you stop, you'll take that many points away from one player or spread it out over multiple players. You'll then gain that many points. For example, Player A rolls a Sharkle alongside two ones. Player A puts away the two ones and goes to roll again, getting a five on one of their remaining dice. Instead of risking it, they stop and add up their points. They will take 200 points from their first roll and 50 from their second for a total of 250. Afterwards, Player A looks at how many points Players B and C have and notices that Player B is pretty far in the lead. While Player A could take away 125 from each player or 200 from B and 50 from C or in any combination, Player A chooses to take away all 250 points from Player B. Player A then adds the 250 stolen points to their score. Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi @mizukarate , all Shut the Box games are played in the same way. Players will take turns rolling the dice and flipping their numbers until they either "Shut the Box" by flipping down all their numbers or roll a pair of dice that they cannot use. One of two major differences between the variants would be either the number of players, ranging from 1 to 6, depending on which board you have. In this video, I have the 6 player variant on the left and 1 player version on the right. Depending on the variant you have, you can play with up to that many players, with each player sitting behind one of the sets of numbers. Each player would still take their turn flipping their numbers down until they cannot do so anymore and keep those numbers down while the next player goes. At the end of the game, each player adds up the numbers that they did not flip down and the player with the lowest total is the winner. The other variation is how many numbers appear, which will either be 9 or 12. The 9 number version is the easier of the two, but the rules are still the same between the two versions. A fun tip I'd recommend is that for Shut the Box games with multiple players, you can give each player a pair of different colored dice and have them all roll at the same time! Rather than stopping when they make a bad roll, have every player keep rolling as fast as they can until they flip down all their tiles first! @@mizukarate I just got the same variant for Christmas. The rules with it suggest that Subtraction of the pips is also an option (?) or default (?). It also mentions that if all tiles >= 7 are down, player can elect to roll a single die. Is this what you gather from the instructions, or did you get even a different set of instructions?

@risusrules I didn't look at my instructions yet(got mine for Christmas too). However there are some good youtube videos out there.
