Can you provide the safety data sheet and the un38.3 test report from the internal battery? Try to get it from Trimble without success.

Any idea why Access isn't showing me the horizontal tilt offset in the methods? I am using Access, and an R12i. I am going to review my template for anything in there.

I'm wondering how many control points you used for both scans. Was it the same points for both scans?

Trimble clearly rushed this model to market. It's a POS in my opinion. Glitches are the norm. They should have taken the TSC-3 and given it more RAM, a faster processor, and a better screen. I guess that still leaves the operating system...not sure if these glitches are Android related or Trimble.

Brand new TSC5, it's gone flat. Tried charging it for 4hrs with the trimble charger and it's not even switching on. It's crap!!! The TSC3 and 7 are so much better.

Doesn't the PIVOT server automatically recognize the situation and adjust your correction accordingly? I brought this issue up with my PIVOT administrator a while back and he said that it will put you on single base if you are outside the network perimeter and/or are really close to a physical reference station. For instance. If one is working about 5km from a reference station, and all the others are 100km away or further, doesn't it automatically give you the corrections as if they were generated from the nearby station only? It has always been my hope that a RTN takes a lot of these decisions out of the hands of the field technician. Having been involved in the deployment of infrastructure for, and the training of end users of RTN's (RTK-Net and PIVOT), I can attest that, despite how much you train people, there will be some that will just use whatever they have seen work in the past, and refuse to recognize that they need to evaluate each site and choose a RTN source and mode accordingly. Hopefully these services take some of these basic decisions out of the field technician's hands and automatically supply them with the correct solution which, as is mentioned in the video, is often a single base correction.
