I've seen both RUSH and TRIUMPH shows multiple times. Rik Emmett is in a different league when performing live.

Loving Yes as a twelve year old in 1970, it took some doing to convince friends and family that these guys were the best. BTW. Pink Floyd had a Yes vibe as Yes created progressive rock.

I respect your attention to Joe Pass. I can tell you are a fellow guitarist. Very nicely done! With Pass it is effortless! The dude is just badass!!!! Nice words at the end. So glad you listened! Rabbit Hole? As a Nashville dude you surely know about Hank Garland.

Taylor sounds cold and bright to my ears. I prefer the warm and rich sound of guitars. That’s why I like Martins or Gibsons.

The biggest thing to understand, is that the live stage shows feature liquids of various colors which are blasted into the crowd, simulating blood, bodily fluids, viscera, turning the entire mosh pit into an explosion of cathartic release of the suppressed violent urges of humanity, leaving the attendees drained of malice in an almost religious experience.

I must criying sooooooo much, that's because i'm born in adliswil, near zürich. I havent see a concert in switzerland. They played nearly nothing outside the us stades, i don't know why, because rockfans are the best audiance you can have. Since i'm 10 i love deep purple, till my death. Nice days, for a better 2025.

If you think this is a note for note copy, check out the other 5 or 6 videos on YT of Stevie's Voodoo Child performances. Though they all pay deep homage to Jimi, each is uniquely SRV and is loaded with variation.

The man is very humble and quite in his band life. His drumming is as good as Bonham which is a constant debate. He admired other drummers and has no desire to compete. He has no need to. He inculcates all skills from other drummers so IMPROVE his ability. The constant chirp chip is his left foot which seems to run without effort during the most difficult process.

Fun Fact: The vocal line "Did you all hear what mama said?" was lifted from the 1963 movie 'It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World' and delivered by the actor Dick Shawn referring to his caracter's mother played by Ethel Merman. A hilarious movie!!.

“Space Oddity” was released in June 1969. The punk rock movement began in the US in NYC in 1970 and went full-blown by 1974. In the UK the punk rock movement began around 1976. This official Space Oddity video was released in December 1972, about 3 years after the song’s official release. The significant context you request in your reaction video is provided in an album that Bowie released in June 1992, “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars”. Bowie assumed the theatrical persona of his created character, “Ziggy Stardust”. Bowie was always very theatrical on stage throughout his career, and a super extraordinary song writer and musician. He was always ahead of the times.
