The AI is trash in this game. Once you understand the strategy, anything but "I am the greatest" with 7 warlord opponents is too easy. Here's why it took you so long: 1) You didn't keep at least a trash unit in each city. Many of your cities were captured and pillaged by opportunistic bats. 2) Recruit as little trash as possible. Anything weaker than strength 4 or 5 is trash. Use trash to guard cities or stack it with stronger armies (especially heroes) if you are short on units. Other than that it's generally just a waste of time and money. 3) Use bats to reveal all the terrain. When you use single, fast, flying units, it doesn't take long. Generally I don't play with hidden terrain, because it just slows things down, and there is no fog of war. You explored the map with stacks of units, or slow units, many of which were expensive. That probably slowed you down more than any other mistake. 4) Heroes are the key to the whole game. You seem to have figured that out by the end. Maximize their mobility by stacking them with a flying unit to make them fly. Then grab any items lying around. Then use the ruin menu to find any unexplored ruins. Then get quests at the temples. Then keep your hero at the front, feeding them armies. Once you had a hero with a big army you walked over the enemy. The AI isn't smart enough to do anything about it. 5) Don't stack units with different speeds. That goes double for flying units. There is no reason to stack units where there are no enemy armies. Use the move-all hotkey to reduce the tedium of moving units. 6) Keep some cavalry or flying units around and use it to mop up loose armies and defend your borders. Send all your other armies against the enemy, preferably where your hero is. Units have no value sitting in stacks where there are no enemies. The key is to find where the enemy is coming from, then send a hero against them, then send as many armies as you can to reinforce your hero. Once you have around 20-30% of the cities you can steamroll all the AI players even if they all gang up on you.

Bro this would’ve been over if you just launched a full scale attack with rams while you had the complete upper hand. You just let him build up while launching tiny scale attacks with knights while he probably had enough vills for that amount of damage to not even matter. You should’ve won this tbh

As for me, the transition to improved graphics in the W2-deluxe version led to a loss of clarity of the images. I continue to play the W2-classic version, it's much better for my eyes.

That's hardly a challenge when you use the most OP unit in brood war. Why do you think pros never use it? It would remove all the fun from the competition.

Quick question. When you select all army, how do you not also select the monks. Its kinda frustrating

if you select the tower and press x after you garrison the units they ungarrison and there is no need to click on the tc and ungarrison all. Just a quick tip great game tbh
