to get dark sonic you need to get all the fake emeralds, they spawn in random amount, so you can get 3 in one run, or 1 in another run on the same map. they usually spawn near life monitors, checkpoints, emerald tokens etc. and they have a quest (e.g sacrifice some amount of score, sacrifice some lives, continues shield, kill some enemies etc). you press custom button 3(you can see in options to what button you mapped it to) after completing the quest to collect them. after you collected them all and have at least 50 rings, you hold custom button 3 and hold spin button, you will transform into him, then u have to kill enemies to get full powered dark super sonic thats long yea, but i tried to make it as detailed as possible
