Huge! Heavy and amazing ride but I don’t see 108’ wave top to bottom. Not including spray from lip. They measure from bottom of wave to top of lip. We’ll see though. Leave it to the professionals to judge it. But been watching huge waves for years and it doesn’t look that much bigger than the biggest towed already. 86’ current record.

I don't know why, perhaps the video angle, but this wave seems much smaller than those caught off the coast of Nazare, Portugal.

This is an incredible achievement no matter what. But there is some bad math and unconfirmed info going around. Let's not ket debate over numbers take away from this victory! (Btw I have a physics degree and did the math on my own...)

The angle is throwing everyone off, this angle will make any eyeball guesstimate short of the actual size of the wave

It's definitely much hollower than Nazare but not as tall if that is the criteria, incredibly enjoyable to watch as the thickness of the barrel is unfathomable. Nazare looks like ants on a ski slope, this one of the most magnificent barrels ever ridden!
