Dirty cabin air filter same as a house air filter The dirty it is the no air flow there will be available so what happens?? The evap coil starts freezing up (the lower the pressure the lower the temp) ice starts forming a compressor can only shoot out liquid and get it back in vapor form not iced up refrigerant

This (same exact problem) just happened to our 2.0L at 85K miles. I bought the extended warranty when I purchased and juts got my car back home with a brand new motor, $100(ish) deductible. Still not happy it happened at all but I smell a class action lawsuit coming. I feel bad for folks that are living with this problem without realizing there is a problem, and adding on the miles.

I just came across your channel, and i am currently restoring a pretty clean 1954 m38a1 willys jeep. I'm 53, and have wanted one of these older military jeeps for a long time. My grandpa's were both in wwll, and my one grandpa had an old 50's jeep on the farm, and a 67 mule that he'd let us kid's drive. I have good memories of the jeep, but in Michigan, finding one not all rusted out, or at a low price is not easy. About a month ago, i found one that had never been road titled, and was used in northern Michigan in the summer and fall. The 24 volt system is still intact, and I'm slowly getting the parts to get it running. It sat for a couple year's, but the motor turns freely, and I just got the two batteries, and some ignition point's for it before firing it up. I rebuilt the carburetor, but it actually was pretty clean inside and i could have just tried to start it. The guy who bought it back in the 80's stopped driving it, because he was having trouble getting in and out of it, then passed away, and his daughter sold it to me. I plan on doing a frame off like you are, because i want it to last awhile. I'm probably the only female viewer, but growing up, being much older than my brother, my dad and grandpa's taught me a lot, because i was cheap child labor back then lol. I loved working on thing's as a kid, and continued on as an adult. I have progressive MS, causing muscle wasting, and my Dr. told me to be as active as i can to avoid the wheelchair, si i got this jeep to keep me moving. I have some other problems from a bad accident awhile back, but i do as much as i can, and rest when i need to. Anyone can get an old vehicle and work on it, it really helps in many ways. I think your jeep is coming along well, at least from the other video's i watched. I really enjoyed the video with your dad talking about the jeeps being dumped into the east China sea, how waste full, and sad. My dad passed back in 94, and i miss working with him, but i retain the thing's i was taught, plus what I've learned. G-d bless.

A good video with very helpful details for DIYers. You should disconnect the negative terminal as it is not safe to disconnect the positive terminal while keeping negative terminal connected - There are many KZbin videos explaining why.

I would NOT get the KW $66 cheapie kit. Since you did all that work (and even more to get it back in, I would get the NOVAK complete rebuild kit with new 2nd gear parts etc. The rule is, don't leave anything undone when you are that deep in. Further, try NOT to use Ada OMiX parts it at all possible. KW sells mostly AO parts. I used it with mine and was very happy. ALSO, now is the time to rebuild the clutch while you have that much taken apart. Don't make the mistake I did and need to replace the clutch AFTER finishing all the TC stuff.

Thanks, man! I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Since making the video and watching several more videos I have concluded that I need to replace most of the gears and shafts.

The simplicity of the passenger side is Made to look easy however Ford gave very little play in the wired connector. Yes , the coolant reservoir is a problem however, the wiring is a nightmare. I love my 2018 Escape but the designers need to look at what they are planning. This isn’t a simple plug and go on the passenger side

I love the idea of putting the wheels on those tiny furniture dollies. I’ve got one and I haven’t used it much, but 3 more and I’ll be able to scoot my 48 CJ-2A around as needed! Thanks for the video, Scott! I’m guessing it’s the same process for dropping it? Mine is currently installed with the tub on the Jeep, so it ain’t coming out the top. Lol
