We did our first cruise ever on the Grand Princess in January 2023. We absolutely loved it. She's a wonderful ship. It's nice to watch tours like this a couple of years later and remember the experience ❤

Maldives is much better than Bora Bora with crystal clear water and white sandy Beaches with rich Marine life that you won't see anywhere in the world. Also Maldives offer various option from Luxury water Villa to cheap Hotels that cost about less than50 dollar a night . Transport cost is low , If you travel local ferries which cost about mostly about 1 dollar, depending on distance. If you eat from local restaurants then it will be cheap.

Update : the Panther is back in Houffalize, nicely restored but not to running condition as not only the tank has become too fragile but is also a war grave, the crew died in it. If you can't decide which chocolates to choose, simply buy a box. These come in different sizes, I recommend the largest one. Leonidas is one of the better brands and has outlets everywhere in Belgium.

I loved reminiscing through you. Knowing we travel a lot, we are often asked about our favorite cities and although most are in Europe we always start with the "San" cities in recommending U.S. ones: San Diego (easily #1), San Antonio, and San Francisco.

I took the Santa Claus Express in the beginning of December 2024, and I thought it was amazing! I bought food from the grocery store so I didn't have to pay for expensive food, and that helped a lot. The showers were doable, the beds were comfy, and it was overall a fun experience. I also think I stayed in the same room you guys stayed in!

We want people to know what it's really like to travel to Egypt, as it's on a lot of people's bucket list. We prioritize being real and honest about the places we travel. If you want fake positivity where everything is great all the time, this is not the place for you

B’ham is very relaxing and scenery is amazing to behold. Lived there from 94-2000 and the town has grown so much! The Whatcom falls are where the kids go to jump in the water! Plenty of campgrounds going east. There’s a blackberry bush on the wall in the marina! My boys went to grade school, middle school and high school! There’s the bagelry in downtown B’ham that’s a staple in town! It’s called Skagit ( skageet) river! There’s also a really good campground in the mountains with a nice river to go tubing!!

There are lots of hotel in town, we opted to stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites as it was a little cheaper and just outside of town. A cold 15 minute walk got you into town, but there is a free shuttle that runs every half hour or so

NEVER SKIMP ON GLACIER FLIGHTS! Whether back in May 2001, when I got the sweet pack (shoulder season) for $350, or in 2010, when I got the sweet pack for $500, it was TOTALLY WORTH IT! I am a life long Alaskan. I even rolled my eyes at the flightseeing trips. I had taken a boat, gone one a hike, so many things that meant I didn't need to "pay like a tourist" to fly up there and "walk on a glacier". I WAS SO WRONG. We got a "shoulder season" deal in 2001 and returned entirely different Alaskans. Later I insisted, on a good weathers day, that a friend from England spend $500 on the "full" flight, plus glacier land. Seeing the full area, a thousand precipices, a thousand cliffs, only gives more meaning to the glacier landing, a thousand-fold. You will never see our planet the same way again. If you can afford it, take both, and let us know if you agree with me. You guys are still great! Love your meet story!
@TheAwkwardTourists21 күн бұрын
We totally agree! I was so worth it, especially on a clear day

You guys are great! After college, in 1996, my first job in advertising was to fact check the Official Alaska State Vacation Guide, containing 1259 facts about Alaska. The most interesting was talking to the US Geological Survey in Fairbanks about the "official" height of (then) Mt. McKinley. "Well, sir, the official height of Mt McKinley is 20,320 feet." OK, I replied. "Uh. However, officially, we are not sure." Not sure? "Yes, sir. Measurements taken in the 1910s seem accurate, and, yet, our current measurements, using the lastest technology, differ." Differ? "Yes, sir. It's not as much. And we are not entirely sure why." Not as much? "OK. Please keep in mind, the 'official' height of Mt McKinley IS 20,320 feet. But our current measurement is 20,310 feet. And we aren't sure why. Studying the surrounding terrain, we believe that the Alaska Range is shrinking, as a part of plate tectonics." Shrinking? "Your are in advertising, alright. Reporters just take our word for it. People don't realize, plates smashing into each other can build mountains, like the Himalayas. But nothing is constant. Mt McKinley can't ONLY grow. There are times when the terrains, the landmasses, relax, and, thus, Mt McKinley can shrink somewhat. Like the continent is breathing." They believed the Alaska Range was in a shrinking phase. Measurements said about one foot every decade. "Officially", the height is now 20,310 feet, but the "official" story has to do with better measurements with modern technology, BUT Denali is "officially" growing ... taller. Much taller, like Americans do ....
