Great chat, guys, thanks for sharing! For what it's worth, I found the presentation of the 7th Sea 2e rules in Khitai were a lot easier for me to wrap my head around and it helped me come to grips with how to approach the regular 7th Sea 2e books/rules.

First time viewer. Right off, I am put by the "unboxing". So here some tips to attract viewers like me. No one needs to know the dimensions of the mailing box. No need to watch you cutting open the box. You don't need to show the packaging material...just mention if it is poor, good or great. Do a quick perusal of the reading material to determine what you want to highlight.

@felipmoral3969 thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, it has been sort of a tradition in the podcasts I listen to - starting with the now defunct Gothridge Manor. So...it's kind of an inside joke for a lot of the listeners.

Also, how would you do that ahead of time, (perusal that is) if you are opening it for the first time? It would then change to a Review of the material vs an unboxing.

I totally forgot to mention the special items that Villard carries with him. A mother-of-pearl hand mirror & compact that belonged to his wife, both inlaid with strange symbols & characters. Really looking forward to this campaign.

I'll be damned! My group used to play Twilight 2000 for years in the 80s and 90s on a huge tabletop. We used hex maps/counters and movable terrain/figurines of all types to conduct our adventures. Got a recommendation from YT while while checking my own channel. Cheers!

I was a KS backer for this and I was really psyched for it, but it turned out being nothing more than a completely underwhelming set of house rules for C&C. The classes are boring and the spells are pretty much bog-standard AD&D/C&C. It was a huge missed opportunity IMO to do a Swords & Sorcery supplement for C&C.

Gear is a great way to ground ourselves in a setting. FASA managed to get the balance right for me in terms of setting detail vs utility and size of their gear lists~
