I had a few tears on my armrest, cleaned it well with alcohol, filled it with the epoxy paste provided then applied the color corrective coating in the cracks overflowing them by a bit and feather edging product around the flaw. Warmed up the iron medium, placed the grain texture paper over repair site and used iron to press the texture paper over repair for 5-8 seconds. I followed with the round flat metal tool provided, to press repair and let it cool for an hour. Then carefully removed grain textured paper, repair was almost perfect with close to excellent color and texture match . I added an extra step blended in leather spray dye with an almost perfect result. Highly recommend this product!

Question: who has an iron in their car so they can heat that heat transfer doofer for 3 to 4 minutes? I'm assuming I can hit it up with a lighter for maybe 30 seconds and try that. Honestly, not really looking forward to trying this, but I will.

Hello, Of course, it's not usual to have an iron in the car. But in most cases you have an iron at home, where you usually do such repairs. Of course, there are also alternative ways to heat the stamp, e.g. with a soldering iron. You could also put it in the oven. A lighter also works. However, we don't think it's a good idea, as you burn half the contents of the lighter, leave traces of smoke on the stamp and easily burn your fingers. ATG team

@@ATG_Premium_Car_Care thank you for responding. My car is parked a fair distance away from my home so if I use an iron or anything in the home to heat the stamp, it will be cold by the time I get to the car. So I'll try a lighter and just be very careful with it.

Warum hält denn das Teil besser als z.B. Panzer- oder Alu-Tape?

Alu- oder Panzertapes sind, wenn auch sehr gute, Klebebänder, die natürlich nicht mit der Reparatur-Gaze der Rohrreparatur zu vergleichen sind. Das Tape der Rohrreparatur härtet steinhart aus und stellt gewissermaßen eine Ummantelung der beschädigten Partie her. Außerdem ist in diesem et ja eine 2-Komponenten-Reparaturmasse enthalten, die vor dem Tape das Loch oder die beschädigte Stelle abdichtet. - Also mit einem herkömmlichen Klebeband keinesfalls vergleichbar.

I bought this kit and the product won`t harden. I went 50/50 with the hardening powder and I can still wipe it off with a paper towel. It doesn`t seem to do anything. It`s like paint that won`t dry. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to use the epoxy for a thin crack ?

25 € pour un peu de colle et de couleur ... manuel d'utilisation nul ! Acheter un tube de colle pour tissus et recupérer un morceau sous votre siège, gratter et récupérer les fibres puis les coller délicatement et attendre que ça sèche 30mn environ

Hallo, ich würde das Mittel gerne für ein altes ausgeblichenes Vinyl-Cabrio-Verdeck benutzen. Sollte laut Artikelbeschreibung dafür auch geeignet sein? Habe ich das richtig verstanden? Werde ich mit einer 70g Tube auskommen oder brauche ich zwei. Und was mir wirklich wichtig ist, färbt das Material danach ab, bzw. rinnt mir dann eh nicht die schwarze Farbe bei einem Regen über Lack und Scheiben wieder vom Dach runter? Artikelnummer ATG047 sollte das richtige sein oder? Danke

Hallo John, schön, das Du dIch für unser Produkt interessierst. Unser Produkt ist für die folgenden Oberflächen geeignet: • PVC (Vinyl) • Leder • Kunstleder • Hartkunststoff • Weichkunststoff Der Untergrund muss gut gereinigt werden mit einem Silikonfreien Reiniger und anschließend kannst Du dann die Farbe dünn auftragen. Eine Tube reicht für ca. 1.5 m/2. das sich die Farbe mit dem Untergrund verbindet, färbt sie auch nicht mehr ab. Halte Dich einfach an die ausführliche Beschreibung. @@Chriislaure pas pour moi. je n'ai pas reussi a reproduire la couleur bleu canard de mon canapé. et je pense avoir mis trop de colle du coup ca faisait epais et sale. j'ai finalement amené la housse de canapé a une couturiere pour reboucher le trou de cigarette.
