Gosh, I would love to hear 2024's Norah Jones revisit this song. Way I see it she is the epitome of THE piano lady. Way back in 2003 she did this with Marian McPartland, only it was sort of "finishing" school, an earn your stripes kind of thing. But I reckon 2024's Norah Jones could handle this all by herself... and I got a feeling it would be all kinds of awesome.

This singer. They will tell stories of her, you bet. When she's gone, when I'm gone, when most people reading these comments are gone, and the generation of say 2080 or whatever are considering the greats of the early century, Norah's name will be front and centre, they won't even know about most all the pop stars and the like, but this woman's name, "Norah Jones" will be in hushed whispers, they will debate just how GOOD she really was... and they won't be able to find a worthwhile answer to that except maybe on the strength of her first few years, but even that won't be satisfactory. All they will be able to deduce from the by then archival records is that... no one was quite like her.

If you're used to playing this in A minor on the guitar, just put the capo on 1st Fret. She's singing in B flat.
