@@katrinawilson7002 I let the paint dry for about 2 days. I poured the first coat of epoxy and let that dry for a full 24 hours. I then sanded gently by hand. Cleaned it off, then poured the second coat of epoxy, topping that off with glitter when freshly poured.

How did you get the epoxy to adhere to silicone ?? I know in acrylic pours you really have to clean the oil off really good to get resin to adhere . So I was just wondering how it held up

@@cynthiacollins2668 it’s the outer dark brown part with inner side sorta green. You basically skin the limb and only use the outer parts that you shave off. Discard the “stick” after you shave off the medicinal outer part.

Could you tell me what the paint in the gallon can was? And what is the purpose of the glue? I’ve been staring at my countertop for weeks trying to decide how to do this. I already have my colors, just terrified to screw it up lol
@trippingwithpippy23176 ай бұрын
Glue helps with sheen.. and water helps with the pour. I had some left over white paint from my house that I used as a base to mix with black paint to get a gray color. I’d suggest watching several paint pour tutorials on yt to get an idea of how different colors look together in a pour.

Good temu finds! Love your garden, I've thought about putting fabric down but I'm planning to plant so many flowers and other things around my plants I think it would be difficult. Also looking at vertically growing as much as possible so can use my hula hoe to weed. Also we are doing 3 different in ground gardens one 30×50 and a couple 100 ft ones. Plus my kitchen raised beds. I actually may look into putting fabric down for the 100ft pepper bed. So excited for spring!❤

Isn’t gardening fun! :) 🤩

@@trippingwithpippy2317 our dream is to have a food forest. We only have 3.4 acres but my family is giving us some more land out of the 134.7 that we are connected to. It will like double our land. It's all part of the original homestead and I'm the 5th generation so we will be working on all of it to leave it better for our children and my niece. Our biggest issue is cleanup and cedar tree removal so we can actually plant beneficial trees.
