Skvělé video, pamatuji záznam v Československé televizi s panem Pecháčkem. Díky moc!!

Amazing quality! If all the races of those years were digitalized, I would watch them instead of modern F1! P.s. 9:43 - We see that the pool already exists and there is a road around it, but it is not used yet and racing around the pool will start only in 10 years!

One thing that never seems to quite come cross on camera footage is just how steep those track undulations at Brands Hatch are. That sudden drop after Paddock and then the immediate climb up to Druid’s are quite daunting when you first drive them.

But due to the small storyboard of the original, the neural network made everything too smooth, as if in slow motion, while in the original they were going about twice as fast...

Wonderful video…!!!. Is amazing to see the most classical F1 race, from 1962 in this quality. Thanks a lot.

Fantastic onboard, you feel the vibration and see the work of the front left suspension! Old Hockenheim is ❤

Wow it's crazy this is 1979! looks like a historic race from modern times. With all the old, degraded video footage around, we expect F1 videos from 45 years ago to be a yellow, blurry mess!

Fantastic documentary in color and high quality! Incredible to see that almost nothing has changed in Monaco since then: uphill climb to Casino Square, downhill to the tunnel and bay area, start/finish line. Thanks a lot!

Fantastic film - the quality - really places you back in time and place. On the other hand - seems that the Monaco GP was as boring and dull back then as it is nowadays.

Anyone know how the onboard camera footage was taken? Looking back mainly?

You can't beat a high-quality film print and the colours are amazing. Monaco still had real glamour back in 1962; a far cry from the overrated, high-class slum it has become today.

Did I hear Murray say that Villeneuve drove smoothly? Are you serious? 😂 His driving style was anything but smooth. Nelson Piquet starting his career; 2 years later he would win his first of three titles.

Forza Gilles! Awesome Video ! Watching the Great Man at work, Sorely missed !
2:30 , Poleman always in the dirty side. Again it proves that conspiranoic theories by Senna´s fans saying Balestre and FIA tryed to make fauvoritism to Prost against Senna, are always out of sense...

From the days when all the cars looked very different, not like today, size of a truck identikit cars. All the tracks that were used in the day aren't up to modern requirements, but I'm sure the driver's would love them .
