Excellent video. Straight to the point with concrete examples and minimal fluff. This video deserves far more views.

What about Burn up chart? Isn't it one of the metrices of Scrum? Could you please reflect upon it?

It kind of seems more efficient to just estimate a time range?

Yes. They just want to look edgy with this BS 😂

Time is not always enough. One task is long and tidious and would take 10h, but anyone could do it. Another would take an hour, but you would need a professional with equipment. I think those points are supposed to incorporate not just time and effort, but also equipment, money and skills necessary for completion.
@maebh98Ай бұрын
@@kongolandwalker that's still way to abstract. You would still need to put a caveat with every task. For example, if one task is 5 points because it'll take forever, but another task is 5 points because it needs to be done on an expensive machine.

Velocity can measure story points, so not necessarily done / not done. It's simply wrong. It has nothing to do with releases. Also, burn down chart is no metric. Its a method of visualization. For instance, the amount of work completed = velocity. You cannot predict over 4 Sprints. For sure not with velocity. The calacity does not need to be tracked necessarily.

What is a realistic salary for a new scrum master?
@TheAgileShop9 ай бұрын
For new SMs in the USA it should be around 80-90K. After 2-3 years of experience, it could be anywhere 110k-140K in large enterprises. Depends on location as well.

False the purpose of the retrospective meeting is to find what went well and what not, if not then what was the causes and action plans to overcome those issues for future sprint.

Good stuff, but whats the diff between 1 and 3?
@TheAgileShop11 ай бұрын
Good question. 1 is more about internal team general observation and 3 is more about outside of your team because it has to do with how work comes in your team and defining that workflow.
