Yes that's the right tempo here. Nice work rhythm section-keep the feel alive and exciting. Nice work soloists not easy to "feel" a 22 bar solo section. Set drummer is excellent? catches everything and keeps the feel there. SA little weak band coming into the coda -but otherwise GOOD WORK!

Techically speaking Wynton is truly is limited in range, progressive scales and lack of style of his own. If you watch the interview of the late Miles Davis regarding his own opinion about Wynton performance well he's not totally impressed.

Se que son grandes trompetista, que se quemaron las pestañas estudiando, pero lo único que escucho es notas desgarradas, notas agudas y sonidos que quitan la belleza de la trompeta.... Un poco de payasadas la verdad.... Sea dicha.... Sonidos muy feos
@jesusvictoriano77010 ай бұрын
La trompeta es como la música no tiene explicación , cada uno le de la intención y gusto posible para el disfrute de cada persona, decir que la trompeta es solo para la música clásica es como decir que la la tierra es solo para los humanos.

I really don’t like Sandoval musical ideas ..... if you put the Rhythm ideas they are just 16th notes in a row in a scalewise form and half notes ...... I mean ..... no cadence , no good phrasing , no interesting harmonic development , just a bunch of random notes here and there , and the ugly thing is his aggressive attitude towards trumpeters , Sandoval tried to defeat Wynton but he was destroyed with class

It's just your point of view. Can I tell you my point of view? Arturo just wants to play. It shows that you are doing your best because you acknowledge the other person. But Wynton keeps trying to teach Arturo. He's not doing his best. The rude one is wynton. That's a stage where they talk to each other, no one can trying to teach anyone. Wynton always try to teaching someone. He didn't even recognize old jazz trumpet masters and always accepted their achievements selectively. If you look at the autobiography of Miles Davis, that part is detailed. 'Cause even Miles was mad at Wynton's rudeness.. Funny thing is, some people say Arturo is rather aggressive. Arturo is not aggressive at all. He's been making music in that style all his life. Similarly, Wynton is warm and considerate when he is in a superior position, but he is always ridicule and tease like that for seniors or jazz trumpeters of the same level. That's Wynton's fight and that's his how to talk. Wynton's loyal fans are always fooled by that. Wynton should fix the rudeness.

@@delicious9824 mmmm …. Believe me dude, Arturo is nasty, not just his horrendous improvisation skills but his attitude, Wynton changed a lot, but Arturo is the same cocky
@delicious9824 Жыл бұрын
@@ralphnuolo3359 What are some cases where Arturo is cheeky? You are not even worth believing. Your musical level will not be welcomed anywhere. because you call that someone's best performance is terrifying. Arturo has done a lot of much warmer music than Wynton. And he's been working with a lot of other people. He had worked with dozens of times more people than Wynton. Is it possible if he is cocky? Is Wynton, who works closely only with the Lincoln Center family and New Orleans family, all the time, or Arturo, who works with anyone and even Wynton? You are not 'worth trusting'. There is no logic.
