As I pointed out, I thrive on a hell of a lot less in expensive areas b/c I drive a cheap car, go to national parks instead of Beyoncé concerts, and watch the real estate market instead of complaining the market is too out of reach. Playing the victim of, “my money goes to other countries”. Nevermind that people are literally suffering and aid is humane. Sure our government gets a hell of a lot wrong, but this guy is not a victim, despite how much he wants to identify as such. He’s lucky he can live with his parents at all. Some of us slept on the floor or couch as a child without an alternative choice. But go ahead. Keep buying your Starbucks or Dunkin on the daily. I’ll work my 40-50/week, still enjoy my gourmet cooking, and working on my own car. Alternatively, you can live away from society, unsure of when your next meal will be.

I absolutely see your point of view, but I also think that things like the cost of renting an apartment being between 1900 and 2300 a month doesn’t help peoples situation, or how expensive groceries are now. I do agree you need to earn the money and work for it…but I also believe the cost of living has become too expensive. Thank you for sharing your view and opinion on the subject.

The cost of living is getting absolutely out of hand. I make more money than I did 5 years ago, yet feel twice as broke than I did then. And no, I don't spend money on a bunch of luxury items. But feel free to stay sleeping
