You missed one! How to get to the backdoor at bowsers castle.

Can you help me what sort of consol do you use for this super mario game, as the picture quality is amazing. I have to old snes consol, and recently purchased the snes mini consol but the picture is very pixeled.

Wow. The secret exit at 18:22 was a doozy for me. Mostly because I flew into the gap with the cape instead of using the coins to make stairs 😂

i think the 1 that took me the longest to find was the bridge

Unfortunately 6-5 is simply impossible on my phone because there's no way to fly into the air without releasing the turtle. So it's the only level not playable on my phone.

Getting the LongSD beforehand requires a hefty purchase, but it's not worth it anyway since the Rang is much better overall and you get that for free soon afterwards.

The funny thing about 1up farming is once you're good enough to do it, you don't need them

2 tips. 1) if you hold up during yoshis lick, he will lick above the ground. 2) in the final ghost house secret exit room, if you hit the P as the coins are coming out, you can ride them up and get a perfect path for them.

I know about all of them but there was one I never noticed until yesterday despite how much I play it. And that's the P thing in the first normal level in world 8. Never noticed it before because I usually don't fly straight up 😂

You don't need a cape at all to get the the first secret exit. Just jump with yoshi and jump off.

I don't think I got the final ghost house as a kid. I mean I might have, because I feel like I had 98 and spent hours scouring all the ghost houses and maybe a few other levels that didn't have colors to get to 100, which I felt like was the obvious number of 100%ing the game, but it might have been 98. I did have help with the Top Secret Area though, I learned that one from a cousin. Either way, I know I got all the rest, though I remember getting stuck on one of the Forest of Illusions levels trying to figure out the 'intended' path when I was like 7, though I still beat the game via Star Road (also through the Forest of Illusions). I did run it back when I was like 9 or 10 and finished the rest though, I remember being CERTAIN about the Butter Bridge exit and really struggled to fly underneath with the cape, and felt really accomplished when I did. Anyways, fun times.

You forgot the Forest of Illusion Fortress… at the end you can fly over a big lava sea… you get to a warp star then

Here's another way to get perfect five 1ups in the guessing game: have a cape and spin jump, catching the edge of each "?" box from left to right (or 1-3). If you do it right, you'll get a 1up *every single time!*

Forest of Illusion 1 is the Ultimate 1-up grinding level. You need a cape, and just start stomping Wigglers as scroll them offscreen and come back. You will start getting 1-up then a 2-up, then a 3-up, then a 5-up, then the game kinda breaks and crazy stuff starts to happen

This brings back memories. I'm playing this on my Gameboy advance. In my opinion, it's way superior to the SNES version.

There is more than 96 it goes to 99 on the save and becomes 2 stars instead of a number next to your save

I had no idea it was possible to play the fortresses after beating. Thank you! Another tip I always use...in Larry's Castle, you can hop one of the two floating brown blocks (you will see them in video at 13:01) and wait for the platform to come back around. You don't have to ride it the whole time, you just have to jump on one of the blocks and wait...avoid all of the obstacles. That along with riding it down to the halfway hash makes it very easy level.

There's no secret in this game if you're not a r3t4rd

18:19 I spent hours flying Mario into that small opening...and I did it on several occasions. Never knew you could control the coins with the control pad.

10:17 I spent several hours FLYING that level to get the secret without yoshi...UGH! this way is so much easier.

I have beaten all 96 levels when I was a kid. After watching another video, I found out you can get any Yoshi you want by going down the chimney at yoshis house in the beginning going to the ocean secret.

How do we get to Cheese Bridge? It's been 30 years and I have long since forgotten 😅
