My favorite thing about MCP is how often they nail the feel of the characters from a mechanical standpoint. There are some misses, but they hit it out of the park more often than they don't. I'm extremely impressed with the folks at AMG for making such a variety of interesting characters.

Yea I find going from grey to white the way to go in general. Never just go straight to white.

I paint white over white primer

Looks great. I prefer to prime white, over brush with a warm white, dry brush with a bright white, and finish with a black and small amount of blue oil wash. This is what i like about this hobby there are multple ways to get about the same results that look great.

You’re actually using an overbrush technique and not a dry brush technique. While similar in nature, over brushing has far more paint on the brush than when dry brushing. Dry brushing removes nearly all of the paint from the brush and requires a short soft bristle brush. Many folks use an eye makeup brush to dry brush with. Overbrush tends to use a type of brush that you are using but with using less paint than normal and far more than what is removed for dry brush. I enjoyed watching your hobby journey and figured I’d comment to help you with the algorithm and to clarify the terms being used. I’ll be sure to watch more of your videos. 👍 End result was a solid and good looking mech for sure.

I am so glad they are bigger. Small thin parts are stronger without being to fat. So much more depth to the fine details than Legion size.
