I had the monovisc injection in both knees a few days ago and today my knees feel great! Haven’t felt this good in years! I’m 41 with moderate OA and had a ACL replacement from a full tear on my left knee and currently no ligament damage. Just pain and cracking and popping in both knees. Now 90% of that is gone thanks to the monovisc! Going back in Jan 2022-6mos later, to have another set done and will continue every six months provided they last close to that and I don’t have any issues from it which I don’t anticipate. I highly recommend these injections to anyone with knee pain like this.

@@marcoperez7330 hope it works out for ya! I go back 06JUL for my next set of injections. I go every 12mos and now about a month prior the pain comes back but only when I’m sitting down on the head or in a lower chair so still not as bad as without them. That throbbing pain is gone from the injections. Takes a couple days but you should start feeling better within 1-3 days. I think on the second day I noticed I didn’t have any pain and figured it was a fluke but it didn’t come back and eventually does at it gets to 10-11 months but nowhere near as bad. Good luck!

I just had it done, this is the second time I had this done on my knee. Last year and today just had it done again and this time only one injection last time I had to do it three times. Anyway now I had it done and my knee feels full like liquid in it and cracking and pressure annoying.. anyone know why? It bothers me so much this time..
@juanchopapa3286 Жыл бұрын
this may be 3yrs too late of a reply lol, but for others, have it done with ultrasound guide next time to check if there's effusion or excess fluids in the joint, if there is, some fluids have to be removed first before injecting the viscosupplementation otherwise it will just add to already swollen knee and will cause the symptoms you're experiencing.

My question is regarding the tensioning the tendon of the anchors. If the tension is more then the patient would have a problem in flexing the PIPJ and cause stiffness
@TerrinhaXD5 жыл бұрын
All doctors should do this prior a surgery, so we patients can better understand the procedure and what to expect. Thanks for this.

I am a 67 year old male. I ride my road bike about 10 miles daily. Dr. Vitanzo gives me my OrthoVisc shots every 6 months and they work perfectly for me. Dr. Vitanzo, a Rothman physician, took his time to explain the drug and I consider him a wonderful doctor. My results were terrific.

This time I only had to do one injection he said something because of the insurance. So they did it’s three injections in one. All I know is my roommate I feel so much pressure and it’s cracking like my knees cracking it’s so uncomfortable. I did it again because the first time I did last year it felt great I loved it but I don’t remember this so uncomfortable feeling. Like pressure feeling in my knee.
