Thanks for watching and your comment. I checked the Siam Bayshore Resort and it is rather far from the beach. If you want a nice experience that is closer to the beach and attractions maybe consider Siam Siam Hotel Pattaya. It is closer the beach and has an amazing rooftop pool. Pattaya is very spread out so if you too far from the Pattaya main beach you will be having to catch a bolt everywhere. Also if you want something middle of the road about 70 a night with amazing views then you could consider this place. Clean rooms, amazing view from bedroom and nice pool. (Book Deluxe Ocean View Room) I stayed there and enjoyed. Good Air Con in the rooms but not in common areas. Good enough for the price and comfy! Watch this video to see what you think! very nice video and good editing, was up there 2017 ill think and they maintain it well , visiting a buddy up in pratumnak hill that is next to it. One tip : If u wear a black tshirt or darker one u look more slim and the sweat spots doesn't show..;)

pretty funny my first trip to thailand was 1994 as a 18 year backpacker (went alone and traveled 3 months) and now im been working and living here in Bangkok +15 years.. the prices are somewhat correct for daily life .. alot cheaper if u really live here and speak thai and really live a thai middle-class life away from the tourist areas =)

I enjoyed this. The only thing that has got more expensive in Thailand over the years i think is accommodation. I was there many moons ago (late 80's early 90') for some months and food and drink are still great value. Will make my first trip for 8 years soon. Thanks for the update.

Great video Stephen. I have eaten at the Sussex Centre many times. It is a shame that the Dixon House eateries didn't survive the Covid closures. They were also a great place to eat.

Those markets look good. 😊 Yes, the Airport Line & MRT are crazy at peak hour. I usually arrive in BKK around 5pm, leaving the airport close to 6pm, when flying in from Sydney. A bit of a squeeze, especially with luggage 😂

@@sbworldtravelvlog no worries mate. I have been to both multiple times. Castaways is in disrepair. It was nice when I visited pre-covid, but I think one of the partners bowed out and it isn't being maintained. Since no one is there most of the time and the place is open, I wouldn't be surprised if their fish had been stolen. I always have a good time at Wasana... though I am considering trying out Hookers Fishing Lake next time. It is a lot more expensive but the lake is bigger with bigger fish... I've also done the Pattaya Fishing Park which is one catfish after another. It's super easy to catch there, but exhausting and not any variety.
