Modding in versus is fine in my opinion in most cases a mod isn't gonna drastically affect the game and for mfs like me playing on a 2012 dell laptop i need certain mods to keep up performance

When L4D2 was cheap on sales. Its a freaking pain, but at least it makes some challenge on you because you play mostly with people that don't know game yet. But because im playing campaigns only on Expert. I wanna just trashtalk to people that they have to switch to Advanced because Expert does not forgive mistakes like insta-down from tank, insta kill by witch, 20 HP loss when hit. And because many people just get down at start of the map - it honestly pisses you off because you have to find another lobby with same newbies. But in the most cases where you encounter just an offensive person that talking bad just because he wants it. Just ignore chat or mute him lol. When he is gonna FF you or kick just leave the lobby or kick him instead. About Tryhards.. I honestly never wanna play Versus just because even if i wanted to be better in there. I would not play anyways because im raging alot (not only L4D2 PVP). So i mostly get negative expirience, i just can't have fun. I got ripped in the a$$. I'l better play with Bot Specials because they play fair, you hear their spawns. They can be challenging too. But in most cases Versus players is such difficult enemies play with. And in many cases im just quit the game, i don't have same skill as them. And hearing trash in my address is awful, i can't just "hide chat" or "hide winning statistic" because that playing with your morale too. And after this all you just feel miserable and angry after full match. I had literaly 2-3 good matches at whole 600+ hours (that mostly played with campaings, not versus).

as someone whos been doing movement in counter strike since around 2009-2011 but really got into it in late 2015 the bhopping in this game was pretty easy to get a hold of started playing a few days ago after not touching the game in almost a decade glad to know i wasn't missing any weird tech thats l4d specific nice video

Only thing l4d specific is that you cant bind it to scroll wheel. So it's probs the trickiest bhop to nail. CS, Tf2, and apex are ezzzz

I dont understand, when I am playing and trying to concentrate to try to make some bunnyhops I usually can do just 3 in a row, but when I am like half-paying attention or drunk I can even 10 in a row.

Even the regular bunnyhop really took a lot of practice to get used to. I remember keep jumping and jumping from the start to finish just to know that it was not a real bunnyhop. What a waste but it was fun too. 🤣

If you just want to learn the timing, W only is great for practice. Don't bother with the strafe yet. 🤷🏻‍♀️

you cant in this game. You couldldd in the config but it wont help you b hop. The servers update to slowly to register all your scroll wheel inputs

do u really not crouch when bhopping? cuz i learned bhopping playing as an infected, so i always crouch, even as a survivor, bhopping without crouch feels slow...

if you dont crouch and you miss your jump its easier to get back bhopping meanwhile while you crouch and you miss your jump you will loose all your speed and will have to get momentum again on the other hand the pros on crouching is there is more strafe time than not crouching because if you crouch you'll land in the ground more late compared in not crouching

I prefere crouch bhopping but normal bhops are easier and more consisten on weird terrains.

I don't know what you're playing on but that shit doesn't work because of how the jumps and timing is designed. It works in some other source games but isn't reliable in l4d

Binding to mousewheel is not better in l4d2. You still need to manually time the jump, spamming scroll doesn't work in l4d
