Saw BOC way back in my youth. Opened with Cities on Flame. A sterling memory. Great show, lighting and ass kickin guitar.

I saw BOC multiple times between 1975 and 1980, they were always the headliner, and they always played this song, usually about mid-set, most underrated American band ever, and Buck Dharma, when he would walk center-stage, crack his knuckles and smile, time to earn that paycheck…still touring today as he and Eric inch closer to 80…how can this band not be in the RNR Hall of Fame??🎸🎸🎸

I saw Blue Oyster Cult in a small Venue in Harrisburg PA early 1990s While they did not play this exemplary tune they performed which such skill and they rotated instruments in a precise circular motion several times each man playing every instrument I have never seen anything before or since to replicate my amazement In a club called the Metron maybe 1500 capacity with a mere 500 -750 crowd to there outspoken dismay they played brilliantly to a sparse crowd one member stating we have an upcoming gig playing in Las Vegas this is just a warm up Spoken in a Rodney Dangerfield style of snappy witty clamoring happy distain as if to say no respect I tell ya no respect They were electric There is a McDonald’s on every street corner That doesn’t make it the best food in town talent doesn’t need to be acknowledged or speak for itself The best never show off or self promote they just exemplify subtle astonishment no one’s opinion will ever make you great only you can accomplish that which lies within your grasp this band grappled with the brass ring and tore it in half

STILL a better band than most, and they've been playing longer than most. And to top it off, Buck is one of the most humble guys you'll probably meet. They deserve greater recognition and respect.

Of the three titles in Buck's "Trilogy in A-minor" (May, Reaper, Burnin') you can always tell by the way Buck solos on LDOM live that it's his favorite.
