Great singer! Enthralling performance! Really moving!

Das ist der beste Jesus-Darsteller, den ich kenne. Wie er diesen Song rüberbringt, so voller Gefühl, mit Tränen... besser geht es nicht. Es geht voll unter die Haut. Auch vom Optischen her ist Steve einfach die perfekte Besetzung für Jesus, und die Stimme - hammermäßig!!!! 6 Sterne!!!!!

One of the most emotional vocals i have ever heard! I'm not religious..but its impossible to not listen to this LW masterpiece without thinking about Jesus and how he died for us! Pure class from Mr Balsamo!

me and my wife watched jcss with stephen live at the lyceum 1997 and he was incredible. to top it all we concieved our son on that very trip to london ...he was bor may 98. this wasn't animmaculate conceptionbut it certainly was something i'll never forget

Thank you Stepneymiss for posting as was the first time I witnessed Mr Balsamo too and I promptly bought tix for me n mom to see my first west end show at London Lyceum. We were lucky that Steve performed on the night I wept unashamedly through that brilliant production: I felt so privileged to hear his voice in that role. The BBC with lloyd webber are talent searching for the new role, don't think anyone will come remotely close to his portrayal. Magic

Agreed, I'm made up someone finally has put this up as this was also the 1st time I ever saw steve b, I recall being on the phone to my mate when this was shown and I remember turning round as if to say who the @@@@ is this guy 'wow' ...then seeing my mum & nana just sat there crying,lol...from then we promised to see him & sadly they were to pass away down the line...and never got to see the show : ( I wrote Steve a MSG few yrs ago about this story & he thought it was a great story,which sta
