Don't throw away your rice water! Save it to put in your shampoo, or use it on your skin. It's an Asian way of helping your hair grow longer & stronger. It works!

If I'm right...I think that brand of tortilla's are uncooked (you can normally find them in your local grocery store) and the flour water mixture is used as a "glue" to help keep them sealed. Tortilla Land Ready to Cook Soft Taco Size Flour Tortillas, 30 oz, 18 Count (found these at Walmart) $4.53.

I make something similar called Ebelskivers. It's basically a regular pancake type batter. Yummy! I'll have to dig out my ebelskiver pan!

Æbleskiver... did you know they originate from Denmark, my home country. Originally æbleskiver (meaning Apple slices) was apple slices dipped in pancake batter and then pan fried. With time they became the round æbleskiver we know today, but it still used to be customary to fry them with a little piece (~1,5 x1,5cm/~0,6 x 0,6inches) of apple placed in the middle. Today most skip the apple... Serve them with straw- or raspberry jam (or your favourite) and a dusting of powdered sugar
@Jenna_Bug13 күн бұрын
@KT-lo4qo I did know they were Danish, but I didn't know much else. Interesting! My S-I-L gave me my pan decades ago after I fell in love with the crispy treats she'd make with hers.

This looks so wonderful. I can't have gluten, so I often can't have bready things, but this looks like it would be a great substitute snack.

There’s super easy flatbread that you can easily make out of lentils soaked overnight and blended. You don’t need oil or yeast. I recommend adding a pinch 🤏 of salt per lentil cup ( of dry) just add it after you soak them. You can add water or milk and blend them until its like thin pancake batter or crepe batter. Cook in a dry nonstick skillet or well seasoned cast iron pan. 🍳It makes great wraps or sandwiches. Surprisingly it just tastes like bread not like boiled lentils at all. They can be served like pancakes as well. There’s lots of videos for making them.
