became a cyclone fan cause of craig brackins. royce white was the best player in the ncaa that year imo. he was good or great at nearly everything. had an amazing feel for the game. one of sports great what ifs.

Hilton Magic is being down 6 and *on defense* with 50 seconds to go and then forcing two consecutive inbound turnovers to cut the lead to 1 and ultimately not even have to foul! Yes, Iowa just completely collapsed in those final 50 seconds (on offense, two consecutive inbounds turnovers followed by two consecutive missed shots. On defense, giving up points on all three possessions and allowing the Cyclones to use less than 10 seconds on every one), but the strangest part about that is that such breakdowns by road teams isn't even all that strange in this building! That's how loud this building gets - that normally sure-handed players start committing multiple uncharacteristic turnovers, missing shot after shot, and making defensive mistake after defensive mistake! That's what "Hilton Magic" truly is!

Two very talented brothers in the pic #6 and #3 Troy and Darren Davis from Miami Southridge Sr High… Troy went on to set multiple college football records including multiple 2000 yard rushing seasons at Iowa State.. Troy was inducted into College Football Hall Of Fame and had a brief stint in the NFL
