Who charges $600 for a two door vehicle? The paint was not decades old. And it was not a little scratch in the glove box material. That's a 3-4 inch cut in the fabric.

I don’t mind paying more for what the detailer says is a complete interior job/clean. But I expect an absolute close to perfect job done! I’ve had bad luck paying top dollar from what I was told would be a complete interior job. Vacuum/shampoo, clean all interior plastics/dash and crevasses. What I got back was the work of a straight up blind person! Didn’t tip dude, just paid, got in my car and left! Middle f the road John charged me half as much and did twice as good! My long point here is, just because you charge more, doesn’t mean you do a better job than anyone who charges less! Don’t believe the make believe hype people!
