A friend of mine had her husband make a square clapper with a knob in the middle to move it - gave it to me for Christmas! It’s perfect!!

12 yrs, Madam!!!! 12 freaking years I been wanting to quilt but that whole walking foot and using the guide, the darning foot, etc all intimidated the crap out of me and I thought for sure I will break my machine doing something wrong. They no longer sell my machine which is the Singer Futura Quartet SEQS-6700 so getting anything more than presser feet for it is a nightmare so I am I stick to the things I know how to do which is basic sewing and embroidery. Thanks to you I am going to venture out with the attitude of, "Take it one walking foot step at a time and if I break anything well I have a good reason to buy the latest singer all in one" lol. Thank you so much, Madam!!!

The clothes repairer near me would charge as much a pair of jeans would cost to fix the hole in my jeans pocket, which is a shame because apart from the pocket they are fine.

😅 I mean this is cute but you completely missed one of the main points of that dress is that the bow is a contrasting color! Honey we can't see the bow on this version 🫣 I'm all for upcycling and I totally understand the desire to make this with a velvet dress. But you seriously need a second fabric...

I tried knit foot but I don't see the difference between this foot and the normal foot Stitches point are better ?
@MadamSew
@MadamSew Ай бұрын
With a normal foot some knit fabrics bunch up under the sewing machine presser foot. The knit foot jumps and doesn't slide over the fabric like a normal foot. If your fabric stitches well with a normal foot, you don't need to change it.
